While this site keeps you up to date and involved, most of the planning and coordinating of the Save Ianto campaign happens behind the scenes at the Livejournal Communities. At the moment we have two main comms, either of which you should feel free to join, where ideas are discussed, plans are made, and people just go to communicate with like-minded fans. Of course, you're very welcome to join both communities or just pick and choose projects to be involved in! They're both very warm and friendly, so don't be shy! Details below.  Save The Coffee Boy Community This is a long established community where the quest to return Ianto to our screens can take on more diverse forms. They put a lot of effort into mailing, emailing, CiN and other features of the campaign, but they also actively support Gareth in his other ventures, such as the Casimir Effect film, which is in production. They organise things like shrine visits and Blue Gillespie gigs (Gareth's band ... you knew he was in a band, right?!) and other things. In the end, their main goal is Saving Ianto Jones!

 Save Ianto Jones Community This is a newer, more focused community. While they still wish Gareth and the other Torchwood cast well in other ventures, they're focusing all their efforts on the campaign to return him to Torchwood in his role as Ianto. So while you won't find other things here like fundraising for Gareth's new movie, you will find a bunch of dedicated and professional fans who are working hard on the core staples of emailing, tweeting, mailing, generating press etc. In the end, their main goal is Saving Ianto Jones!
